Celtic have become almost imperious under Brendan Rodgers this campaign and the Irishman is loved among supporters as he aims to lead the Bhoys to another domestic clean sweep.
Brendan Rodgers wants another domestic clean sweep at Celtic
Despite initial debate over his return to Parkhead, Brendan Rodgers has won over the entirety of the Hoops’ support by delivering three trophies since being appointed for a second time in 2023.
With the business end of the season now in reach, Celtic require only three more Scottish Premiership victories to mathematically confirm themselves as title winners for the fourth season in succession.
The Scottish Cup offers a step away from league duty this weekend as Hibernian await in the quarter-final. Should they conquer David Gray’s men, they will turn their attention to overcoming Rangers and Heart of Midlothian, which would present an opportunity to claim the crown away to St Johnstone on April 6th.
Contractually, Rodgers is bound to Celtic until the end of next season. Despite admitting he is ‘very happy’ at the reigning Scottish champions, there have been no talks over an extension for the former Liverpool manager.
Although supporters’ general attitude towards his situation at the club is relaxed, there will come a day when those upstairs must search for his successor. That may not happen soon, but football is an evolving cycle that can never be underestimated.

Brendan Rodgers could oversee intriguing changes at Celtic this summer.
Looking to the future, former captain Scott Brown has been touted as a future Celtic manager should he continue his upward trajectory over the coming years. The 38-year-old is currently in the dugout at Ayr United, so any chance of that suggestion coming to life would be way down the line.
However, the Parkhead hot seat has no shortage of appeal, and fans will be intrigued by a high-profile name who has refused to rule out managing the club.
Jose Mourinho refuses to rule out managing Celtic
Cited via The Scotsman, Jose Mourinho refused to rule out a future stint at Celtic in his pre-match press conference before Fenerbache take on Rangers in the Europa League on Thursday evening.
When asked whether he would ever take a post in Scotland, he stated: “In this moment, no, because I have a job that motivates me and a job that demands loyalty. But why not in the future? People can say that the Scottish league is a league of two teams, but it is a league of passion.

“For me, passion in football is everything. To play in empty stadiums or competitions where there is not that fire or passion, for me, that doesn’t make any sense. Celtic and Rangers are big clubs with big fanbases, big emotions, big responsibilites and big expectations. Why not? But in this moment I have a job.”
Once labelled a “disgrace” by John Hartson for his antics during Porto’s 3-2 victory over Celtic in the UEFA Cup final in 2003, he is someone who carries a mixed rapport in Glasgow’s east end, it is fair to say.
Nevertheless, Mourinho is one of football’s blockbuster names and the prospect of him managing at Parkhead in the future would surely grab global attention.
